The EASD International Relations Coordinator together with Departmental Coordinators organises the student exchanges and provide that the foreign guest students have the necessary information about Courses, accommodation and arrival to Zamora. We also help to solve the bureaucratic and daily life problems.

Before the nominated students’ departure, the International Relations Coordinator will send information about the city, location of the institution and those necessary processing such as: medical card, insurance, credit card, visa application, if necessary…They will receive information about the possibility of taking Spanish Courses offered by the Official School of Languages in Zamora, as well as contact details to find accommodation (only first semester).

Incoming students will be informed about cheap places to stay temporarily if they did not find a place to stay before their arrival. We will also provide information about the local rental market and the advisable areas to live.

If the students do not have a good level of Spanish, they will be helped with communication with teachers and other students and in the administrative processing, if necessary.

One of teachers in our school will collaborate in a guided tour around the city in order to make the first approach to it.

The International Relations Coordinator will be in charge of introducing the board of directors and teachers, making a tour around the facilities and explaining the school functioning and organisation. We will also give information and the necessary documentation on schedules, courses, rooms, etc.

Incoming students will join up working groups designed by the corresponding teachers in order to ensure academic integration.

The students will have the same resources than the students in EASD so that they can make projects, works and other academic activities. These include: ICT, library, equipment to produce scale models, projectors, interactive whiteboard…

During the mobility period they will have regular meetings and they could ask for information or help if needed.

Our institution will contact the sending institution on a regular basis in order to inform about the adaptation and monitoring of the students.

At the end of the mobility the students will fill in a final report that will help us improve the functioning and development of the Erasmus programme.
